Sarfaraz Hansraj is an accomplished real estate professional, investor, and developer with a strong record of building and scaling high-performing property portfolios. He founded First American Real Estate and First American Builders, bringing over a decade of hands-on real estate expertise and 25 years of prior experience in technology and project leadership with major corporations such as AT&T, Motorola, Siemens, American Airlines, and Capital One. His shift from the corporate world to real estate was driven by a passion for creating long-term value through operational efficiency, investor-focused service, and smart development strategies.

Since co-founding First American Real Estate in 2016 with his wife, Seema Hansraj, Sarfaraz has grown the firm from managing 20 properties for friends to overseeing more than 450 doors and closing over 300 residential investment transactions. Starting with his own 20-unit rental portfolio, he quickly gained recognition for helping investors acquire, finance, and manage income-producing properties. His expertise spans asset performance analysis, portfolio optimization, and strategic acquisitions — all grounded in transparency, diligence, and a long-term value mindset.

Recognizing the increasing demand for build-to-rent housing, Sarfaraz launched First American Builders to lead the development of multiple duplexes and fourplexes over the past six years. Most remain in the company’s rental portfolio, providing stable returns and long-term asset growth. His comprehensive experience across brokerage, property management, and development enables him to guide clients and partners through every stage of the real estate lifecycle.
